- potatoes250 Grams
- sugar350 Grams
- Pure Ghee250 Grams
- small churned Cardamon(Illaichi)1 Tablespoons
- Baking Soda1/2 Tablespoons
- Maida1/2 Cups
- Kesar1/4 Tablespoons
- Cashew nuts4-5
- Water2 Cups
1)First Boil the Potatoes. Then Keep it aside to cool for about 15 min.
2)Now Mash the Potatoes well. Add 1/2 Cup Maida , Baking Soda, Small Cardamon (Illaichi) and mix all the ingredients well.
3) Now for the sugar syrup i.e., Chaashni, Take 2 cup water and add 350 gm of sugar and little bit of Kesar and boil it for 10 min.
4) When the chaashni becomes very thick ,Remove it from Gas and keep it aside.
5)Now, Take the mixture of Potato prepared earlier. Mould it in the form of sphere with small Sugar cubes( Khadi Shakkar) in the between.
6) Now take ghee in a Pan and deep fry the Spherical Potato mixture
7) After Frying, Dip the Spherical Potato Mixture in Chaashni(Sugar syrup) and keep it dipped for about 20 min.
8) Then Allow it to Cool and Garnish it well with Cashewnuts and Kesar
9) Potato Gulaab Jaamun is ready to serve.
