- Milk2 Cups
- Water1 3/4 Cups
- Sugar1 Cups
- Lemon Juice1 1/2 Tablespoons
- Cardamom powder or Rose Essencefew Pints
Boil milk. Add a tablespoon of lemon juice to it and mix until the milk curdles. Keep stirring and then add the remaining lemon juice. Keep stirring until the whey completely separates. Strain the paneer. Wash the paneer with fresh water to wash away the sourness of the lemon. Squeeze the excess water.
Knead the paneer for 10 minutes. Divide the paneer dough into equal size small portions make balls.
For the syrup In a wide vessel, add the sugar and water and allow the sugar to melt.
Preheat the microwave. In the bowl add the syrup first and then the rasgulla rounds carefully. Let it bake for 10 minutes till soft and fluffy. Let them cool completely. Serve chilled.
